Subscriptions including the Studio (2 GPU limit), Enterprise (no GPU limit) and Enterprise+ plans cost between €199/year and €479.40/year. Perpetual licenses cost €699 for the standalone renderer and one plugin for a host DCC application. A new single Studio+ subscription plan has replaced its Studio, Enterprise and Enterprise+ plans and perpetual software licenses.īefore, Otoy used to offer a range of ways to buy OctaneRender, including perpetual licenses and subscriptions. License and Priceįrom the end of November 2022, Octane had a big change in its licensing model. On macOS, Octane X requires an Apple M1/M2 GPU or AMD Vega/Navi GPU. On Windows and Linux, Octane requires an NVIDIA GPU that has CUDA compute capability of 3.0 or higher. The current stable version of Octane (2022.1), is available for Windows, Linux and macOS. Its large community makes it easy to find users and get help, from social media groups to the official Otoy forums. Huge community: Octane is used by many artists and studios. It is similar to Arnold, but uses GPU technology. Stunning images: This renderer is an unbiased ray tracer so it produces accurate results, making the images photo-realistic.So you can just add up more and more video cards in your Octane rendering system. But you know what’s special about this GPU renderer? It scales extremely well with the number of GPUs – almost linear. Like many modern GPU engines, Octane can use multiple GPUs to improve rendering speed. It outperforms its competitors many times, especially when rendering glass/transmissive materials. Fast and powerful: Octane is very fast. Its fast speed and stunning output quality have made Octane a big player in the motion design industry in recent years. Octane Render by Otoy is a fully GPU-based render engine. There is a 14-day free trial of Maxon One which you can try all Maxon products including Redshift. In this article, we will talk about the big three renderers Redshift, Octane, and Arnold. There are also been some other render engines in the past but they stop supporting Cinema 4D for later versions due to many reasons. Besides, you are able to use other renderers for Cinema 4D such as Vray and Corona by Chaos Group, Maxwell Render by Next Limit. The best render engines for Cinema 4D are Redshift, Octane, and Arnold. You can also use Cinema 4D together with many powerful third-party render engines and leverage their unique strengths for your projects. But they are not the only options for Cinema 4D artists. Cinema 4D ships two built-in render engines – Advanced and Physical.

Plus, it's fantastic that its cooperative component is handled as well as it is because playing it with a chum is definitely the way to go.Hailed as the original FPS-RPG game that spawned countless imitators, Strife: Veteran Edition is a love letter to the classic from 1996. You have to love transforming only to end up bigger than the boss!Įven though I'm a tad disappointed with Darksiders Genesis, there's no denying how solid of a game it is. Needless to say, I recommend playing it cooperatively. This is especially true after you collect a wealth of upgrades and additional abilities as that makes each character stand out even more distinctly from the other. These differences make co-op all the more rewarding as you'll find yourself taking out enemies in ways that your pal cannot which mixes up the gameplay substantially. Both characters play similarly although Strife excels in ranged combat and War has a vast array of melee abilities and attacks. Last but not least, you can play Darksiders Genesis cooperatively with a pal as one player controls Strife and the other controls War from the first Darksiders game. Collecting and maxing out all of those will take a very long time on its own. There's also an expansive arena mode where you can fight some dangerous foes as well as a nifty level-up system where you assign creature cores to slots in order to provide boosts. Specifically, there's a lot of collectibles to be found in missions that you can revisit with newfound equipment which may allow you to explore previously inaccessible areas. Speaking of which, it'll take over a dozen hours to complete the main story and about 30 to master everything. In fact, it can be highly enjoyable and it's best suited for short play sessions as you gradually chip away at the chapter-based campaign so that it doesn't get stale. Hang in there, War you'll figure out this super-easy puzzle eventually.Īlthough I find Darksiders Genesis' gameplay to be somewhat disappointing, it's by no means bad. The same can be said about the puzzles which are mostly simple and frankly, some can be downright tedious. Other Darksiders games feature enemies and bosses that force you to consistently change up your strategy and use different tools to take them down. Heck, even the combat doesn't feel particularly consequential as all you need to do is dodge while unleashing a barrage of attacks whenever you have an opening. With that in mind, allow me to say that after a few hours, it became apparent that everything is rather homogenized in that you'll be going through the same motions over and over again. At first, I relished the gameplay and looked forward to experiencing all sorts of new challenges as the campaign progressed. When it comes to gameplay, Darksiders Genesis poses a classic blend of combat, puzzles, and platforming which will feel right at home for fans of the series. Seeing as his brothers and sister are serious in their own unique ways, this left a bad first impression for me and unfortunately, I never felt like Strife's personality redeemed itself. However, I was kind of disappointed in Strife's personality as he's nothing more than a stereotypical snarky comic book character. When I first started it, I was impressed at its tight gameplay and the new perspective really clicked with me as I'm a big fan of similar games such as Nine Parchments. Finally, this latest apocalyptic journey features a bird's-eye view camera, twin-stick shooting gameplay, and the ability to play cooperatively with a pal either locally or online. Then, Darksiders III tried to go back to the franchise's roots yet it also took a few too many steps back. The first game was a wonderful action-packed adventure while the second focused more on the adventure side of the equation. □□ Strife's guns fire more than just bulletsĭarksiders Genesis is a significant departure for the series. │ At Video Chums, accessibility is important and we go to great lengths to ensure that it's easy for everyone to enjoy our content. It's been a decade and we at last get to play as Strife, the fourth Horseman of the Apocalypse so let's see how much heat he's packing. Maciejewski playing a PS4 on February 17, 2020ĭarksiders Genesis is also available for Xbox One and Nintendo Switch 8/3/2023 0 Comments Vankyo projectorThe included projection screen is a huge bonus and is easy to hang up in most spaces. Keystone correction is fairly decent, so no matter how the projector is angled, you can work out the settings to have a consistent image. If you’re using this as a backyard projector, you’ll want to bring the projector closer to your projection screen, so you’re looking at around a 50-55” projection size. For darker rooms, you’ll do just fine if you’ve drawn the curtains. It’s LED-based, so don’t expect very bright pictures if there’s a lot of light in your projection space. The 530W is rated at 290 ANSI lumens with a 10000:1 contrast ratio. Vankyo says that this foot can be unscrewed and a standard tripod mount can be connected instead, but when we tried doing this we were uncomfortable with how unbalanced the whole thing was, so we don’t recommend attempting to use a tripod mount here. Underneath you have standard holes to connect to a projector arm if you’d like to mount the 530W to a wall or ceiling, and there’s an adjustable foot at the front to slightly prop up the projector if you’re using it on a table or the floor. For the most part it works fairly well, but we’re slightly annoyed that there aren’t additional labels for which buttons can control volume during playback. On the top of the project is a CD-inspired touch control panel, which allows you to access the project settings and navigate around without the remote control. The buttons aren't the biggest, but there's plenty of spacing between them so we had minimal mispresses while typing messages. We've always been fans of the Sidekick's spacious keyboards and the Sidekick LX 2009 is no different. We found the Sidekick's QWERTY keyboard easy to use. The trackball navigator will also light up to notify you of new messages, Twitter updates, and more. We should also note that Sharp and T-Mobile have replaced the four LED notification lights that adorned the four corners of the Sidekick LX 2008 with a single LED that lines the bottom edge (in closed position) of the display. It's not a deal breaker, but something we noticed while using the device. First, it requires quite a hard push to open it and then it doesn't quite lock right into place. However, the Sidekick LX 2009's swiveling action isn't quite as smooth as previous Sidekicks. To flip the display and expose the keyboard, you nudge the upper-right corner of the screen. Of course, two trademarks of the Sidekick are the swiveling screen and full QWERTY keyboard. The bottom features a 3.5mm headphone jack, volume buttons, a power on/off key, and a Mini-USB port. On top of the device, there are two function buttons that perform different tasks depending on which application you are in when you're on the home screen the left key opens your multimedia message in-box while the right key acts as the camera activation/capture button. To the left, there are the Menu and Jump buttons and a directional keypad that doubles as the phone's speaker, and on the right, there is a Cancel button, Talk and End keys, an OK button, and the trackball navigator. Surrounding the display are the same navigation controls as the previous Sidekick LX. You can, of course, customize your background with different themes as well as change the font size. There's also a Quick Find feature that acts like a universal search function on the Sidekick. From the main screen, you have shortcuts to the device's main functions, including e-mail, Web browser, T-Mobile MyFaves, Communities, and media player. The user interface will be familiar to Sidekick users. Also, the Sidekick LX is still tall compared to other cell phones and smartphones, so while thinner, it's not the most petite handset. According to T-Mobile, it has put the device through rigorous testing and found that it's four times more durable than previous versions. The handheld measures 5.1 inches wide by 2.4 inches high by 0.6 inch thick and weighs 5.7 ounces, but don't equate slim for flimsy. Manufactured by Sharp, the T-Mobile Sidekick LX 2009 keeps the same overall look as the rest of the Sidekick family but holds the title of being the thinnest Sidekick to date. For everyone else, the T-Mobile Sidekick LX 2009 will be available in stores nationwide and online on May 13 for $249.99 with a two-year contract. Online presales start now for a price of $199 with a two-year contract. Current Sidekick owners will get first dibs on the new device. Plus, its thinness gives it an edge over the similarly featured Helio Ocean 2, while the integration of social networking sites makes it more attractive than the AT&T Quickfire. While it's definitely still more for the high school and college crowd, the Sidekick LX 2009 has grown up to be more than just a device for sending text and instant messages. 8/2/2023 0 Comments Wedding party planner lucnknowPartial wedding planning: People, at times, may not require assistance to plan their entire wedding but parts of it, Here is where partial wedding planning comes to play. From pre-wedding plans like budgeting and selection of venue to the execution of the wedding, the wedding planner is responsible to make it happen. Beyond this however, ArchLord was broadly similar to most other South Korean MMOs and it quickly sank into obscurity from its release until its shutdown in 2014. This game was fairly high profile leading up to its 2006 western release, in part due to its key gimmick whereby one player would be crowned the ruler of the server every four weeks. Project Celeste brings the game back to life with new content and events. No wonder then that the game has been revived by a team of fans. Now that we have a real AoE4 however, there’s a certain charm to AoE Online. This cartoony version of the ground-breaking RTS series probably wasn’t the right direction for the franchise to take at the time of its release. Updated April 17, 2023: Added Elyon, Twin Saga. Please ensure you do your own research before downloading any files! MMO Folklorist takes no responsibility for any malicious software distributed by individuals or groups mentioned in this article. This article will however only list private server projects for games whose official servers have been sunsetted.ĭisclaimer: The vast majority of these projects are distributing unsanctioned software which could potentially contain malware. There are of course private server projects for games which are still running in an official capacity. Some of these rogue servers, emulators, or private servers are rebuilt from the ground up using only the game’s client-side assets, whereas others are a result of the game’s source code having been made public either officially or via a leak. Yet, their role in preserving MMO history is a vital one, and for that, they should be commended. The teams behind these projects are volunteers – due to legal rights issues they cannot make money from their efforts. Sometimes publishers keep their game’s servers running in maintenance mode, but when this isn’t the case players will take it upon themselves to resurrect the virtual worlds they were turfed out of. Whether it’s because of licensing issues, a dwindling playerbase, or a shuttered studio, there’s a community out there struggling to come to terms with the loss. 1 Play Lost Ark in NA/EU Region Countries. It’s always a sad day whenever an MMO is shut down. Now that the Elyon western launch rush has died down, Kakao Games is now preparing to consolidate the NA and EU servers into just one server per region: Cassiopeia and Andromeda, respectively. First of all, FlyVPN has 1,000+ VPN servers in 40+ countries. I didnt try, but maybe NoPing Game Tunnel could. The team has yet to announce a set date for the server merge, but they’re looking at getting it done sometime in mid-February. In preparation for the merge, account creation on the Eridanus (NA), Sagittarius (EU), and Perseus (EU) servers will be disabled starting on January 5 th. Players with existing accounts on the said servers will still be able to login, play, and create characters up until the merge. Meanwhile, it’s business as usual for the Andromeda and Cassiopeia servers. As is common with most MMORPG launches, Elyon has not gone unscathed when it comes to server problems and bugs. Matchmaking for all in-game content will also continue to function as normal on all available servers. In a post on their official news site, Elyon has addressed the long queues and server. Daas/Daat Elyon ('Higher Knowledge') and Daas/Daat Tachton ('Lower Knowledge') are two alternative levels of perception of reality in Hasidic thought. Kakao says that they understand that the merge may change the experience for players on the affected servers and will be granting 30 days of Star’s Blessing and Wilter’s Brush as compensation. 8/2/2023 0 Comments Codec vfw virtualdubmod

UNHAS continued to deliver humanitarian and health items to 24 countries facing crisis and emergency in 2021. This would not have been possible without the continued engagement, efforts, work and dedication from all our Partners: the Donor community, Governments, the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO), Civil Aviation Authorities, Regional Civil Aviation Agencies, the International Air Transport Association (IATA), our contracted Air Carriers, our User Agencies and passengers, and, most of all, our committed and determined national and international humanitarian aviation workers.Business Direct air linkages between Caribbean and Africa I would like to thank all who contributed to ensuring that in 2021, UNHAS remained funded and capable to provide the humanitarian, health and development workers, the access they require to provide timely and life-saving assistance to the most vulnerable people and communities. On September 1, during her keynote address at the launch of the first ever AfriCaribbean Trade and Investment Forum (ACTIF) host Prime Minister Mia Mottley of Barbados called for direct air links between the Caribbean and Africa saying the two regions “have business to do” and underscored the urgent need for connecting the Caribbean and Africa through airbridges. Ms Mottley’s statements were congruent with statements made by her in September 2021, during the virtual Caricom Africa Summit under the theme – Unity Across Continents and Oceans: Opportunities for Deepening Integration.Īt that summit, Mottley proposed that the two regions agree to weekly direct flights between Africa and Caricom “even if it means that we may have to, initially, subsidise it.” According to Mottley, “the only thing that stops us from having direct air links between Africa and the Caribbean is the will of those of us who continue not to recognise the importance of unlocking 1.4 billion people who have a common ancestry to be able to work with each other.”Īt the second International Civil Aviation Organisation (ICAO) meeting on the Sustainable Development of Air Transport in Africa held at Ghana in March 2017, a special side meeting was convened on promoting tourism and air links between African states and the diaspora, especially in the Caribbean. |
